One of my many favorite
verses is Gal 6:9. This verse lifts me up when I get stressed. This verse gives me encouragement to keep moving forward in any situation and reminds me that I am too blessed to be stressed.

This set of verses is one of my favorites as it highlights that God wants to be ONE with us. What an unspeakable joy it will be, to be complete, perfect, and united with God forever.

This verse has the essentials in three parts and you can tap your toe to it. The ‘and’ and the ‘but’ serve as pauses or breaks in the rhythm. The first part tells you what you need to do to have everlasting life. The second part is the inverse of the first to help lock down the meaning. The third part informs you of the consequence of not believing.. Belief has an object. For salvation, that object is Christ. Broken in three parts as it is, it reminds me of the trinity. Once I saw this, it became easier to see other verses structured in three parts

This is my favorite verse because its a daily, moment by moment reminder that God Almighty expects that a person’s Christian walk should be both in spirit and truth. With as many phoney christian folks out there, this should be a mainstay of all who claim the name of Jesus Christ.

I like this as a picture of our salvation. In spite of the storm/raging sea (of life), when we recognize/believe in Him and willingly receive the Lord into our boat (lives), we are immediately on the “other side” (saved) without having to row (work) any more…

Romans 8:38-39 (JKV) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
All of chapter 8 is exquisite. Yet, these concluding verses utterly declare the blessed assurance we have of the absolute permanence of our Salvation. It drives home the opening verse that states that there is no condemnation to them which are in Christ (Rom.8:1). This is vital to the believer since in this world we live in, our adversary constantly seeks to drive a wedge between us and Christ. Paul assures us that nothing can separate us form His love. It offers great comfort to the believer, and hopefully inspires the unbeliever to come to Christ.

It’s crazy to put any verse over John 3:16, but I wish to share what others may have missed. The first half of this verse clearly lays out what the gospel costs us. The second half reminds us what the gospel costs, and Who has paid it.
