Why Christians Should Reject Disney’s New Beauty and the Beast

If you care about your children or grandchildren, you will pay closer attention to media these days. Sadly – and to the shame of modern “Christians” – most parents and grandparents blindly obey the world system. They know nothing about what is truly going on, instead preferring to trust everything offered to them via media. As they follow the modern “progressive” ways of the world, they lead their children away from God.

For what it’s worth, most Christians mean well – but they’re foolish. Spiritually, many people who say they believe in Jesus appear to be “dumb as a bag of hammers”. Before you say “that’s mean” and dismiss me, consider the fact that most Christians apparently have NO filter on what they take into their soul in the name of “entertainment”.

The latest example is the new version of Beauty and the Beast. I call it “Fake Beauty and the Beast”, because it adds elements to the story that were never in the original tale. The new plot elements add nothing to the story other than perverse thinking. What I’m referring to is the homosexuality that was placed into the plot.

What, you mean you haven’t heard about that? As I mentioned, if you’re like many Christians in the 21st century, you’re woefully blind and ignorant of current issues – as well as Biblical truth. Sad. What should you make of this? Simply put, the world has an agenda. It’s primary mission is to oppose the Creator in every way. It does this through subtilty (Genesis 3) and subversion. It does it through innocuous and innocent and harmless appearances. It does it through entertainment, through fun, and through things that appeal to people. Nothing is new.

Paired with the total lack of basic discernment on the part of most Christians, we are like sitting ducks. Satan – “the god of this world” – rules over people who say they follow Christ just as much as he rules over the most willing devil-worshipper. What difference does it make to him if someone says they follow Jesus Christ, when in reality they actually follow Satan by obeying his world system?

Christians – if they have any commitment to God’s principles and commands – will at least attempt to live for Him. If they have an ounce of courage, they’ll make at least a small stand for Jesus. If they really believe the Bible is true, they’ll at least see and know that this world opposes Christ and they’ll try to not bend to every whim of the outside pressures of temptation and worldliness.

And that is why Christians should not go see Beauty and the Beast. It is a movie that promotes homosexuality, directed by a homosexual director who hates the Bible, promoted by an anti-Christian company (yes, Disney is most definitely anti-Christian), aimed at your child. No sane parent would bring their little boy or little girl to a film like this – Christian or not.

Wake up, Christians. Judging by the fact that this movie is a smash hit, you’re all asleep. (No doubt, a number of those box-office ticket purchases came from professing “believers”.) So, Christian, to put it bluntly….stop being so stupid! Stop being so weak and fleshly, just because you feel like being entertained constantly. Act like a child of God for a change.

Take a stand, for once, against what is wrong. Instead of taking your kids to a movie that advocates being “gay”, tell them you won’t be seeing it and tell them why. Set an example for your kids of how a Christian should act.

Is that too hard?

In today’s Remnant Report, we examine some of the news highlights from the last week. A few of these have bearing on the Last Days, in which we undoubtedly live. Is that a bad thing? For some, yes. But for believers – informed believers – it only means we’re closer to the event called the Blessed Hope, aka the Rapture, aka the translation of the church.

Did you ever wonder what the early church believed? If we knew what they early believers thought about the end times, it might show us if we’re on the “right track”. It turns out, there are written records in which early believers clearly lay out what they thought would happen in the last days. And it turns out, they thought the pre-millenial view is correct. Here’s an interesting lecture from the 2016 “Prophecy Watchers Conference” by author Ken Johnson, in which he talks about this subject:

US Ambassador to Live in Jerusalem

Watch Jerusalem. It is a prime, if not the prime, prophetic indicator. And it is interesting (and encouraging) to watch how favorable President Trump is already acting towards Israel and Jerusalem. Not only has he made clear that he will move the embassy to the “true” capital of Israel, Jerusalem, our ambassador has already stated he will live in Jerusalem. It’s happening, folks.

What Does It Take to Get into Heaven?

Most people want to get into heave. And most people have no concept of what the Bible simply states regarding salvation. Read The Big Lie: “Tolerance Gets Souls to Heaven”.

Simple belief in Jesus (the Lord’s Christ) is all that is actually required. Jesus asks, “Do you trust me?” and you either do or you do not. What could be simpler?

Obama’s final act as president was to give money to the enemies of Israel. From the article: “The Muslim leaders of ‘Palestinian Authority’ exhort Muslims living in Gaza, Judea and Samaria to kill Jews and attack the Jewish state. They glorify murder and reward terrorists and their families and indoctrinate their young to grow up to be homicide/suicide bombers. These funds will be used to slaughter, maim and destroy.”

Every believer should be pro-Israel. And being in favor of Israel would entail doing things that help them, and not doing things that bring them harm. Simple stuff.

But I do believe in observing the times, and I believe that sometimes the Lord might communicate to us through circumstances and events that otherwise go unnoticed. Whether this was a “major prophetic sign” or not, one thing is certain: it would do people good to give more attention and thought to what God’s might be doing and what His will is in the events and circumstances of life.

Not new news, just a reminder of how demonic our universities have become. This one is a religious university, no less. It might be worse than secular universities, in its direct attack on God.

And from the blog of sci-fi author Jerry Pournelle, a brief comment entitled “Universities Go Insane on God!”:
“Another day, another university’s religion program bogged down by political correctness. Earlier this week, we reported on how two top divinity schools are suggesting gender-neutral pronouns for God — and now one of the top colleges in the nation has students asking about whether God is a racist. Specifically, Pennsylvania’s Swarthmore College is offering a religion class this semester titled, ‘Is God a White Supremacist?'” Obviously, the insanity has reached new levels.

And what is the logical conclusion of this line of thinking? This commenter sees right through it. ‘I suppose the solution, then, is to worship the Devil since he must be tolerant, inclusive, and he celebrates diversity.’ I’d say that’s a pretty accurate statement of what they ultimately would like to see.

And finally, the latest from the supposed earthly substitute of Christ: Pope Francis Strengthens Palestinian Refusal to End Hostilities with Israel. Always anti-Israel and pro-terrorists, without fail.

Was the Florida Airport Shooter a Muslim?

If you’ve already forgotten about the shooting in Florida just a couple of weeks ago, don’t feel bad. Soon after it was national news, the national news stopped reporting on it. It was claimed that the shooter was nothing more than a (hispanic) American military veteran. A lone wolf. Another crazy “lone gunman”. But was there more to the story? Did the media stop reporting…because it was found that he was actually a jihadist? According to this report, he was indeed a Muslim, loyal to ISIS. (Also, see here.)

ABC News only briefly mentions this possibility, buried in the middle of one of their articles on the subject:
“Since the attack, investigators recovered his computer from a pawn shop, and the FBI is examining it to determine whether the alleged shooter created a jihadist identity for himself using the name Aashiq Hammad, according to officials familiar with the case.” [Source]

Pre-Flood History: A Pyramid, Built by a Giant?

The legend (or myth, or…history, depending on what you believe) about the largest pyramid in the world is quite interesting. If you believe the Bible, you believe that giants once lived in our world (see Genesis 6). Battles and wars with giants are a very significant part of Israel’s history (the books of Moses contain numerous examples). You are also probably at least familiar with Goliath – and his brothers. But have you ever wondered about the rest of the ancient world?

It stands to reason that if there were tribes of giants surrounding the ancient nation of Israel, there were probably giants beyond the middle east: Europe, east Asia, and beyond the seas in the Americas. And “myths” from all over the world seem to validate this possibility. The myths, fairytales, legends…and even histories from every part of the globe mention giants.

One such myth is the story of how the Great Pyramid of Cholula was built. Supposedly, a giant was in charge of its construction. (Interestingly, the legend says he escaped a flood.)

No matter what, it’s yet another interesting synchronicity that defies the concept that we live in a purely physical world – with no connection to God or eternity. A Radical Concept for the Modern Age: Masculine Men and Feminine Women!

These days, it’s considered weird, offensive, and even “hateful” to say that men should be men – and women should be women. But, it’s true – and as Christians we need to not only state the obvious, but actively teach our kids the truth about God’s order of creation. If we don’t, the world will teach its lies.

Coach Dave Daubenmire talks about this in his article “Masculine Men and Feminine Women“. “Men to be Masculine and women to be feminine was God’s idea. ‘Male and female created He them…'”

Meanwhile – in China – their society is actively seeking to prevent what has happened in the US: While U.S. Media Celebrates Feminization of Boys, China Moves to Prevent ‘Masculinity Crisis’.

At the end of this week is the inauguration of a new president. Pray for the USA, pray for the president, and pray for Jerusalem. Because it’s possible we will see the Trump presidency impact Israel (in a favorable way, towards Israel) like no presidency before.

If you look at the world from a purely earthly perspective, things can seem pretty grim. In fact, if there was no Bible and if there was no truth and if there was no eternal life, this existence would seem pointless much of the time. Put yourself in that mindset for a moment: imagine that the Bible and everything written in it is made up. I’ll wait.

Did you do that? Didn’t it feel hopeless and depressing? Good. Now you know why atheists are always so miserable. (And maybe you’ll be more patient with them next time you have a dialogue with one. Most of them are dealing with some serious darkness.)

Now, get back into your right mind and realize the facts: there is a very real Creator (named Jesus Christ) who died and rose again to save the world – you included. He gave us a record of His Word so we can know His will and understand this existence. We are living in a world that’s only temporarily controlled by evil, but God is still ultimately in control. He loves us and will fulfill all the things written in the Book.

Also, we’re almost certainly at the very end of this age, which means that just “around the corner” we’ll finally see justice, peace, and the restoration of all things. It’s not long at all.

So before you read the rest of this week’s Remnant Report, I hope you’re in that mindset of hope and anticipation. Because we see some signs of the times, and unless you realize that the times culminate in the Rapture and then Christ’s return…it doesn’t look very nice. (And that’s an understatement.)

The fact is that Christians are the most persecuted group today. We might not see it every day in modern America, but in much of the world persecution for naming the name of Christ is a fact of life. The Bible is always correct, and once again science is starting to catch up to what the Bible has stated all along: the life of the flesh is in the blood. But, as always, this world system perverts the Creator’s design and intentions.

Even though it sounds sensational and unbelievable, the following is true: one of the latest fads among this world’s “elites” seems to be injecting the blood of young people into themselves in order to regain lost youth and extend their lifespans. Modern-day, real-life vampirism? Well…yeah. Pretty much.

The Great “Fake News” Scare Of 1530

Don’t think that the fake “fake news” scare is something new. While it’s true that the lying major media in our modern times just recently invented their whole “fake news” narrative (in an attempt to silence the truthful alternative media, bloggers, conservatives, traditionalists…and a Biblical worldview in general) – this has all happened before! Ecclesiastes 1:9 is accurate when it says “there is no new thing under the sun”.

Read here about the same thing – the “powers that be” censoring truthful dissenting opinion – back in the 1500s! What it’s about today, and what it was about in 1530 is the same thing: though police. Those who hold power have always been afraid of truth.

If you know your Bible, you already understand the reasons behind this. The devil is the father of lies, and the LORD is Truth. Those who are captives of the devil are easily deceived by lies. But the followers of the true God love truth. It’s all clear as day…and laid bare in the pages of scripture.

In a few days, Christians everywhere will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Saviour. Even non-Christians will acknowledge Him, (knowingly or not). Have a truly Merry Christmas, and remember to thank the Creator who came here to save us (1 Timothy 3:16 & 1 Timothy 2:5-6).

Feelings > Facts? Not to a Christian.

We hear a lot about feelings (“feels”) today. People are more concerned about how something makes them feel than with the facts. But Christians put their feelings aside, when evaluating any situation. We are concerned primarily with truth.

In John 8:32, Jesus says: “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

To a Christian, their God is Truth. Literally! Not only does Jesus tell us the truth (John 16:7) and embody the Truth (John 14:6), God’s Word is Truth (John 17:17), and His Spirit is Truth (1 John 5:6).

Feelings take a back seat; the Truth is what we care about more than anything. Even when the facts might be unpleasant.

“There is no problem with refugees,” says Angela Merkel. The “Terror Attack Map” of Germany shows differently.

Is Islam really a religion of peace, as so many in the government and media have claimed? Let’s see: numerous unprovoked attacks aimed at Christians, perpetrated by worshippers of a god who is not known for peace. (The 2016 Timeline of Islamic Terror clearly shows this.) Compare and contrast with the Christian God who we worship – Jesus Christ – known as the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

Real Giants?

When people question whether or not real, actual, literal giants walked the earth, all I can ask is: do you believe the Bible?

Not everyone does believe the Bible, of course. Many people have doubts about the plain words of the scripture. But the Bible is (and will be) proven correct – even concerning the existence of giants.

To put this find in perspective, 3m-5m in height is in the range of 10-16 feet – well within “Goliath” range. This is just one of many instances where actual bones have been discovered. Giants, evidently, were more common than modern man can imagine.

A Nation of Sorcery?

When you consider just how widespread drug use is in America, it makes the pharmakeia (sorcery) mentioned in Revelation 18:23 and other places much more relevant to modern times.

The City on Seven Mountains

Often, Revelation 17:9 (“the seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth”) is cited as a reference to Rome. Critics and apologists for Roman Catholicism have said that Rome sits on seven hills, so the verse is not a reference to Rome. It is true that in modern times, Rome is known as the “city on seven hills” – not mountains. And it is also true that many other cities can be claimed to rest upon seven hills.

But Rome is most likely the city referred to in Revelation. I have (at least) four reasons:

1. Rome is the only major international city of any significance that rests on seven hills or mountains
2. The Greek word “oros” used in this verse is variously translated in English as “mountain” OR “hill”
3. Rome is and was referred to as resting on seven MOUNTAINS as well as HILLS. The terms are used interchangeably, especially in Latin. (See “Septem montes Romae” or Septimontium.)
4. No other religious power of any worldwide significance is based in an area that rests upon seven hills or mountains.

<h2>50 Christian Statues Destroyed in Germany</h2>

In Germany, a country that has been traditionally a bastion of Christendom for centuries, is seeing some major changes that seem to signal major hostility toward Christianity. And no one knows why! It’s a total mystery.

In a quote from this article, “German police say they ‘don’t yet know’ why Christian statues are being destroyed all over the countryside of North Rhine-Westphalia.” The German authorities are doubtlessly pursuing every lead in the case of the mysterious vandalism of the Christian statues. Even though the authorities seem to downplay cases such as this refugee who smashed up a church and even the New Year’s Eve assaults of 2016. (Of course, none of this could in any way be connected to the vast numbers of Muslim “refugees” Angela Merkel has imported into Germany over the last year…right??)

The truth is, Germany is doomed for at least two reasons: the wholesale abandonment of traditional values, culture, and religion (i.e. the family and Christian beliefs) and the importation of vast numbers of people who are actively opposed to that culture and religion (i.e. Muslims). Instead of sending out missionaries who would peacefully spread Christianity to those without Christ, the fate of Germany has been to bring in those who would violently and forcefully impose Islam.

In case you think this isn’t a vitally urgent problem, think again. I’m not exaggerating or inflating the dire importance of what is happening to Germany (or Europe as a whole). Just take a look at this map pinpointing migrant sex attacks in Germany, and ask yourself if Germany hasn’t changed for the worse?

France has fared similarly: the Paris you see in old movies is now a thing of the past. It ain’t dere no more. Now, the quaint old neighborhoods are no-go zones.

At the very least, observe, learn and beware.

As a sidenote, but an important sidenote: not all Muslims act out violence and even though they are part of a religion hostile to the truth – not all are personally opposed to learning the truth. Many followers of Islam learn and receive the truth of Christ each year. Here’s one man who used to be a Muslim – but now spreads the gospel of Jesus Christ on the streets of Las Vegas. Lost people get saved all the time, and it happens as the result of Christians telling them the gospel and the Holy Spirit drawing them to God and giving them understanding.

<h2>Fake News is Real, and the Real News is Fake</h2>

A few weeks ago I warned you about the mania of (so-called) “fake news”. It was apparent that the labeling of “alternative” news sources as “fake” would lead to censorship of the real truth. Since last month, the fake fake news reporting has expanded to include a possible overthrow of the US presidential election.

Just when you thought it was settled fair and square, the self-proclaimed “real” news said it was the Russians who used the many “fake news” sites to influence the election. It was a vast <strike>right-wing</strike> Russian conspiracy! (Therefore, according to them, Trump is not a legitimately-elected president.)

The only thing is, none of these major news media claims are…real. They’re fake news! (I know, it’s confusing.) Nowadays, the “fake” news is real, and the formerly “real” news is fake. It’s kind of strange to admit that Alex Jones is now a more reliable news source than ABC/NBC/CNN/MSNBC.

According to all the major media you would think it’s been verified, and the intelligence agencies all agree…but that’s not true either. The point is: don’t take everything the major news media says as truth; they report from a position of power from within Satan’s world order system. And that’s the truth.

Everyone needs to read their Bible, and unless Millennials study theirs in earnest as well, they’re being set up for a horrible future.
